Can I return or exchange items?
If you have chosen the wrong size, we encourage you to consider gifting that product to a family member, friend or classmate and re-order the correct size for yourself. We make this suggestion, as this program is an important fundraiser for your school. Please keep in mind that your school will not receive fundraising dollars on returned items. Should you wish to return the item, Global Village Concerns, Inc. offers a 30-day money back guarantee on most of our products. The Promotional Packs, items that are personalized and other school directed uploads are not subject to this policy and therefore are neither exchangeable nor refundable. If a product does not meet your expectations, please contact our Customer Service team for instructions on how to return or exchange the item(s) between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm PST Monday-Friday at 1-888-501-1577 or via email at customerservice@b1selfshop.com. Shipping charges are only refundable on defective product or order fulfillment mistakes (i.e. you received the wrong size or color).
Can I return defective product?
Most of our products are custom made-to-order for each customer. When decorating custom apparel, printing defects do occasionally occur. This is usually due to factors such as garment dye lots, defective ink, curing and more. While we are constantly striving to optimize our printing methods, unfortunately we can’t always identify a problem prior to shipping. The defects usually show up after a single wash so if your purchase fades or peels after the first wash, please contact our Customer Service team for instructions on how to return or exchange the item(s) between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm PST Monday-Friday at 1-888-501-1577 or via email at customerservice@b1selfshop.com. Because everything bought through the B1selfShop is a fundraiser for your organization, all returns and exchanges are limited to 30 days from the time of receipt.
How long will it take for the refund to be applied to my credit card?
We will submit the refund to your credit card company after we receive and process your items. Please allow 3-5 business days for UPS to ship the item to us and an additional 3- 5 days to process the return and submit the refund request.
How do I make a change to my order?
Most of our products are custom produced for you and your school when you place an order. If you would like to add, delete, or modify an item, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-501-1577 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm PST Monday-Friday or via email at customerservice@b1selfshop.com. They will determine the status of your order and advise you on your options.

What are my payment options?
Global Village Concerns accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and check cards attached to one of the companies listed above. Credit card information captured at the time of your order is encrypted and maintained in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. No one at Global Village Concerns, Inc. will have access to your credit card information.
Why are you charging me sales tax?
Global Village Concerns' operations are based in California. All orders shipping to California addresses are subject to the current statewide sales tax rate.
What are my shipping options?
Global Village Concerns uses USPS, UPS or FedEx for all shipping unless otherwise specified. Orders are shipped standard ground with prices determined based on carrier, weight and destination. Shipping within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii is available.
For t-shirt orders with a quantity of 25 of more, please call 1-888-501-1577 for possible bulk shipping rates.
What size is right for me?
Please see the attached size chart to help select the correct size for our apparel products.

When will I receive my order?
The total delivery time for your order is comprised of two components: production time and shipping time. It is likely that your order will be custom produced for you and will require 5-7 business days for production. We strive to deliver your order between 8-12 business days but will ship earlier if at all possible.
Can I find these items elsewhere for less?
While you may be able to find similar items to those in our store for less, most likely they won’t feature your school brand and aren’t giving back 20% of the gross purchase price. Our program not only promotes your school identity through fashionable custom designs, but we also guarantee 20% of the gross purchase price back to your school for all items purchased from the official school store and student gift registries. Why not purchase all of the items that you want or need for school from a store that will give back to your school directly?
Why do I need to create a student account?
Students are asked to create an online account with their profile, gift registry and emails of people in their support network. This is to allow Global Village Concerns to contact your support network on your behalf to join and have the ability to view and purchase from your gift registry. For security purposes, your gift registry will not be searchable or visible without your express invitation to join and/or your own deliberate action to make it available for viewing. Protecting the privacy and security of your information is of utmost importance to us. We value the trust you place in us, and maintain strict privacy policies. We are committed to providing our customers and users with a secure environment and state of the art technologies to safeguard your information. We will not sell ANY of your personal information to anyone outside of our organization. Participation in the program is voluntary but the more participation, the more money you raise for your school and the more pride and community involvement you build around your school.
Why should I create an account if I'm not a student?
For security purposes, student gift registries will not be searchable or visible without their express invitation to join and/or their own deliberate action to make it available for viewing. If you receive an invitation from a student to join his/her support network, you must first accept the invitation to view the gift registry. Unless you create an account, you will only be able to access the student’s gift registry through a link provided in an email. If you wish to have the student’s gift registry remain as part of your profile, you must create an account and the student’s gift registry will remain visible when you log in unless the student removes you from his/her network.

Information We Collect About You
When you visit our website, and as your trusted notification institution, we collect, retain and use non-public personal information about our potential, current and former customers. We are likely to record two kinds of information:
(1) Non-personal statistical information collected in aggregate. This is anonymous information on subject such as: how many visitors come to our website, how they navigate through the site, which browsers they use to visit the site, etc.
(2) Personal information ("Personal Information") that you knowingly supply to us: when you sign up for our products and services or register on our website to access our products list or to access your account information, GVC will collect personal information that will help us to identify you, authenticate you, and provide you with better service. This information is called "personally identifiable information" and is used to associate usage information with a specific individual or entity. Examples of personally identifiable information are: customer name, address, telephone number, email address, account number, etc.
We Do Not Sell Personal Customer Information
GVC will not sell Personal Information to any third party. We will disclose personally identifiable information to government officials and law enforcement agencies when it is required by law (e.g., in compliance with a subpoena or court order) or if we believe in good faith that such action is appropriate and necessary to protect and defend the rights of GVC, or to protect the safety of GVC users and the general public.
We Protect Your Information
The protection of your non public personal information is of utmost importance to us. We maintain strict practices and procedures to safeguard your privacy in accordance with this privacy policy. We restrict employee access to customer information to only those who have a business reason to know such information, and we educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.
Personal Information. When you provide us with your Personal Information, we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, we are not insurers of the security of your Personal Information. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.
Security
It is possible that Electronic Communications may be accessed by unauthorized third parties when communicated between you and GVC using the Internet, other network communications facilities, telephone or any other electronic means. All transfer of personal information on GVConline.net is secured by encrypted user names and passwords, and the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL prohibits other Web users from gaining access to your personal information, and to help protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of your information. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
When will Global Village Concerns Disclose my Information to Third Parties?
Disclosure to Successors. We may disclose your Personal Information to any successor-in-interest of ours, such as a company that acquires us. In the event Global Village Concerns goes through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by or with another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or by a notice on our Website of any such change in ownership or control of your Personal Information. Global Village Concerns does not share, rent or trade your Personal Information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
How You Can Access or Correct Your Information
If you create an account on our site, you can access and update your personally identifiable information by logging into your school store using the username and password you provided and updating your Profile.
Children
Under Thirteen. The go2gvc.com and B1selfShop.com websites are intended for users ages 13 and older only. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children that we know to be under the age of 13. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from a child under the age of 13. In our efforts to comply, we require a birth date in the student profile including month, day and year.
13 to 17. Prospective users between the ages of 13 and 17 can only use the go2gvc.com and B1selfShop.com websites upon school approval. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you, your parent, or your legal guardian may request that we deactivate any of your Personal Information in our database and/or opt-out from receiving communications from us.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Policy. When we make any such changes, you will find a message on our Home Page and a link to this page. If there are material changes to GVC's privacy practices, you will be sent a notice via email, and it will be posted as a message on our home page and linked in the privacy policy.
Linked Web Sites
Go2gvc.com and/or B1selfShop.com websites may contain links to various other websites. Please be aware that these other sites may have privacy policies that differ from GVC's. GVC does not monitor these sites and is not responsible for either the content that appears on linked sites, or your privacy once you have linked to other sites.
Can I Opt-out from receiving communications from Global Village Concerns?
We provide you the opportunity to opt-out of having your Personal Information used for certain purposes. For example, if you purchase a product/service but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference by clicking on the Unsubscribe link.
